A psychologist and a supervisor specialized in the psychology of crises and emergency situations. Since 2006, she has been working at the psychology department of the Fire Rescue Service of the Usti Region. She cooperates with the Dlouha cesta z.s. (and The Compassionate Friends) on the project „Worldwide Candle Lighting“. Earlier, she had worked in the area of drug services. A member of: chairman of the working group for the Psychology of Crisis, Catastrophes and Trauma with the Czech-Moravian Psychological Society (Českomoravská psychologická společnost), member of  The PANEL of humanitarian organizations of Usti Region and Decin, registered EuroPsy Psychologist, member of The Association of Supervisors in Helping Professions.

Śtěpán VymětalPhDr. Štěpán Vymětal, Ph.D.
A psychologist is an expert in forensic psychology, crisis, disaster and trauma psychology, psychosocial crisis assistance, and crisis management. He has been published (Crisis and risk communication, Tragedies and journalists, Field crisis work etc.); cooperates with domestic and international expert working groups (EU projects: NMFRDisaster, EUTOPA, TENTS, EUNAD); lectures at Charles University (Crisis and disaster psychology); and prepares Czech diplomats, police officers and Czech airlines staff for crisis work.  He is experienced in the coordination and provision of psychosocial crisis assistance to those directly affected  persons in the Czech Republic or abroad. He is psychologist at the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic (MoI) – Security Policy Dpt., Security Threats and Crisis Management Unit. He is responsible for the development of crisis and disaster psychology as well as the psychology of crisis management in relation to Integrated Rescue System (IRS).  He is is an officially appointed expert in the field of psychology of crisis, disaster and  terrorism.  He is a member of presidium of the Czech Association of Forensic Psychologists, member of Ethical Commision (until 2015) and task force on Crisis, Disaster and Trauma Psychology of The Czech-Moravian Psychological Society.

A psychologist specialized in the psychology of crices and emergency situations. She worked as a psychologist of the Fire Rescue Service of the Central Bohemia Region, since 2009 til 2019 she has been working at the Ministry of the Interior, the General Directorate of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic as a head psychologist – methodologist. She cooperated with researchers in the projects focused on the psychology of emergency situations and of psychosocial crisis assistance (BeSeCu, EUTOPA-IP, EUNAD).

Lukáš HumplPhDr. Lukáš Humpl
A clinical psychologist specialized in the psychology of crises and emergency situations. He worked in the health services as a rescuer and operator of emergency telephone numbers of the rescue services and as a psychologist in the Silesian Hospital in Opava. Since 2005, he has been working as a clinical psychologist of the Health Rescue Services of the Moravskoslezsky Region and as a spokesman of this organization and as a guarantor of the System of Psychosocial Intervention Services of the Czech Republic. He participates in preparation of interventionists and their introduction to practice in the area of health services; he externally collaborates with the National Centre for Nursing, the Silesian University and Ostrava University. Member: Association of Clinical Psychologists.

PhDr. Hedvika Boukalová, PhD.
A psychologist specialized in the area of the social and forensic psychology. Since 2005, she has been working at the psychology department of the Charles University in Prague. She participates in international projects focused on the psychology of emergency situations and of the psychosocial crisis assistance (EUTOPA-IP, EUNAD). She engages in other projects, e.g. research project in the area of the forensic psychology supported by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic. She works as a voluntary consultant in the White Circle of Safety with crime victims and their close ones. She also worked as a consulting psychologist and therapist in the Centre for Drug Prevention and Crisis Assistance in Kladno. Member: the presidium of the Association of Forensic Psychologists; the committee of the Czech Criminology Society.

 Barbora BalkováMgr. Barbora Balková
A psychologist in a postgraduate specialized education programme of clinical psychologists with interest in psychotherapy of trauma and PTSD. From 2014 to 2016, she worked as a psychologist with the Ministry of the Interior – General Directorate of Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic where she participated in planning the course of action and setting obligatory procedures of the psychological service of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and cooperated with coordinators of Czech and also international projects focused on the psychology of emergency situations (e.g. EUNAD, project of the Council of Europe focused on people with special needs etc.)
